We offer Dynalco Controls speed switches and transmitters. For instance, the SW-50 two-setpoint speed switch is available. This speed switch can provide reliable protection for engine overspeed and offers a second setpoint for an additional alarms such as crank disconnect. It can be used with various signal sources as it can sense the signal frequency from magnetic pickups or AC signal generators. This speed switch features a rugged case that is sealed and gasketed for moisture protection, yet allows easy opening and resealing without damaging the watertight integrity.
We also supply a range of sensors for measuring shaft motion including many types of tachometers. One example is the direction sensing tachometer DST-2000C from Dynalco. This tachometer is capable of monitoring speed and direction of rotation. It can also drive up/down counters to provide total net measurements such as distance, length, and flow.
Since 1972, Mod-Tronic Instruments Ltd. has been supplying customers with products they can count on. To continue that tradition, we work with fourteen top manufacturers of sensors, tranducers, controls, instrumentation, and more. Because we only supply products that are reliable and long-lasting, our solutions offer a low total cost of ownership.
Our products are used in a wide variety of industries and applications. Our sensors and monitors for rotating machinery protection are used for electric motors, generators, pumps, turbines, engines, compressors, and more. Some of the markets we often serve include aerospace, oil and gas, military, medical, and building automation.
