Resistance Temperature Detector Input Transmitters
A variety for resistance temperature detector (RTD) transmitters is available from Mod-Tronic Instruments LTD. We supply transmitters that feature high accuracy and stability. They include miniature, DIN pack, "hockey puck", and 600 V isolated types. These transmitters can accept input signals from RTDs and convert them to outputs of 4 to 20 mA or 1 to 5 VDC. Some examples of the various RTD transmitters available include:
- Miniature rectangular Temptran transmitters with UL approvals for Canada and the United States. They are available with high-precision calibration to Minco RTDs for increased accuracy.
- Fixed range round transmitters that offer ruggedness and accuracy for process control and general industrial applications. These transmitters have built-LED indicators for monitoring.
- Programmable transmitters that can be easily configured using a standard PC programming kit. Configuration can be performed before or after the transmitter is installed in the process. Some of these transmitters use HART communication protocol which enables up to 15 transmitters to be controlled in a multidrop system.
