Mecury displacement contactors
We can supply mercury displacement contactors from Love Controls. These contactors can switch high current loads quietly and reliably. They have an innovative design that offers a number of benefits. The mercury-to-metal contact arrangement reduces overheating, enables rapid cycling rates (up to 20 cycles per minute), and ensures quiet operation. To provide long life and reliability, the non-magnetic stainless steel contact tube is filled with pressurized gas that minimizes arc erosion.
Another key advantage of these contactors is that the actuating coils are completely encapsulated with epoxy. This design provides minimum power consumption, complete moisture-proofing, and improved heat conduction. To further cool the operation, the contactors have low internal resistance and heavy duty load terminals.
