Heat treated bolts of many types are available from family-owned metalworking company, Ken Forging We supply a range of drop forged industrial fasteners and hardware. For years, eyebolts have been our most popular product. Our bolts are available in many different sizes, materials, and configurations. We offer a variety of standard finishes including plain (self-coloured), black oxide, hot dipped, electro galvanized and electro polished. If none of these finishes meet your needs, we can also offer custom finishes and special heat treatment processes. At Ken Forging, the customer is first.
Heat treated bolts
Our products are made using a hot forging process. Hot forging involves temperatures as high as 2300 F, at a level below the metal's melting point and above the re-crystallization point. When compared to warm or cold forging, this method results in workpieces that can be more easily machined or subjected to secondary processing.
Our eye bolts and nut eyebolts are available in materials including 304 or 316 stainless steel; 4140 or 8620 alloy steel, and carbon steel grades from C1018 to C1045. The threading types we offer include UNC, UNF, metric, and ACME Fine threaded and long shank varieties are also available.
