CPVC Sheets

An industry leader since 1942, Johnston Industrial Plastics supplies many plastics shapes such as CPVC sheets. We also work with many other materials, including nylon, acetal, polypropylene, vinyl, PTFE and Semitron. We also offer technical support in property data, ranked properties, chemical resistance, machining instructions and plastics identification. Our production and sales teams are passionate about providing quality products at competitive prices, and with four full-service warehouses across Canada, we will get products to you quickly, wherever you happen to be. We also have more than 35 years of experience distributing Leister and Wegener’s hot air welding tools for all thermoplastics, including hot air blowers, automatic welding machines, extrusion welders, and a range of accessories.

CPVC Sheets Product Line

We supply chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) sheets. Like PVC, CPVC offers excellent corrosion resistance, electric insulation properties and mechanical strength. The materials are grey in colour, and are also easily cemented and welded using hot air. CPVC has additional temperature and chemical resistance, can withstand temperatures up to 93ºC, and will not support combustion.

CPVC Sheets Industries

Customers have used our CPVC sheets to manufacture chemical tanks, spacers, drip racks, stiffeners, waste treatment applications, insulators and more. Our customers work in a variety of industries, including the automotive, chemical, tooling, and food and beverage industries.

CPVC Sheets Manufacturing Process and Other Services

Adding fillers, stabilizers, plasticizers and colorants can vary CPVC’s properties. For work in the electrical and chemical industries, CPVC materials are unplasticized because plasticizers negatively affect chemical and electrical properties. We offer tolerance cutting, machining and fabricating services as well. We are committed to constantly improve the quality of our products and customer service, and are pleased that Montreal and Toronto facilities are registered to ISO 9001:2008.
