Adhesives, Polyurethane

A range of polyurethane structural adhesives that are designed to offer tough and durable bonds are available from Henkel Canada Corporation. These versatile adhesives can be used on a wide variety of surfaces and are suitable for many industrial bonding, sealing, and assembly applications. In addition to their superior bonding strength, these products feature long life and dependability. Our adhesives are available in many different varieties that offer capabilities and characteristics to suit the application. These solutions offer a number of advantages when compared to other methods of bonding.

Polyurethane adhesive selection

Our polyurethane adhesives include one or two-part systems available in a range of viscosities, from self-leveling liquid to non-slumping pastes. They offer many advantages including their extreme toughness, high cohesive strength, and resistance to solvents, impact, and abrasion.

We offer formulations that range in cured form from extremely soft elastomers to extremely hard and rigid plastics. They are available in fast cure, flexible, high strength, high temperature and high toughness varieties.

Adhesives offer a number of advantages for structural bonding and sealing applications. Some of the benefits include lower cost, improved aesthetics, faster processing, reduced labour costs, better sealing, and filling of large gaps between parts. In addition, when compared to welding or riveting, adhesives offer uniform distribution of stress loads. Also, adhesives are ideal for applications where a light-weight construction is desired.

Our two-part polyurethane adhesives are easy to apply using one of our static mix tips.
