At Durham Instruments, we distribute a comprehensive line of sensors and other quantitative measuring products. Headquartered in Pickering, Ont., we also have warehouses in Quebec and southwestern Ontario, and are pleased to serve customers from across the country. We provide on-site technological support at our Pickering location, and can also manufacture custom systems solutions, such as software and hardware integration. With decades of experience and commitment to customer satisfaction, we are proud to offer the most reliable, durable and accurate equipment on the market.
Sensors Product Line
We supply several types of sensors that measure a variety of properties.
- Fluid properties sensors measure the temperature, density, dielectric constant and viscosity of engine oil, fuel, refrigerants and other fluids. Measurement Specialties' FPS2800B12C4 model uses patented tuning fork technology, and its rugged construction makes it suitable for high pressure and high flow environments. It is factory-calibrated, and provides accurate and repeatable measurements.
- Pressure sensors generate electrical signals that produce a mean of flow and speed of the gas/fluid, water level, and altitude. Measurement Specialties' XPM6 Miniature Pressure Sensor measures static and dynamic pressure in even hostile environments. Made of stainless steel and available in a wide range of capacities, the sensor is not affected by elimination torque shifts.
- Electro-Sensors' VS1 Vibration Monitor detects excess vibration levels caused by looseness, imbalance, worn bearings or misalignment. Early detection and recalibration can protect and lengthen the service life of industrial machinery.
We also distribute humidity sensors, vacuum pressure sensors, torque sensors and more.
Sensors Industrial Applications
We serve numerous market sectors, and our sensors are often used in weather instruments, automobiles, aircrafts, medical instruments, rockets and satellites.
Measurement Specialties manufactures sensor-based systems that provide precise measurements of pressure, position, vibration and other important data. Committed to providing accurate links to the physical world, they can also custom-design products.
Headquartered in Minnesota, Electro-Sensors manufactures reliable machine- and hazard- monitoring systems, and constantly improves their product line to make equipment even more reliable and easy to use.
