Laser Cutting & Forming

Barlow Manufacturing can perform laser cutting & forming as part of our complete range of fabrication and machining services.  We can also perform services including design and engineering, CNC milling and turning, horizontal boring, blanchard grinding, and saw cutting up to 10 inch diameters. We stock a large variety of materials and thicknesses. Our company offers customers a total conveying solution with our wide range of conveying equipment, custom manufacturing capabilities, and excellent customer service. Barlow Manufacturing has been in business since 1932 and we are ISO 9001:2015 accredited.

Laser cutting & forming

We utilize a Bystronic ByAutonom 6000 watt laser with full automation and sheet loading/unloading system. This equipment provides laser cutting capabilities for thicknesses of 1 inch for mild or stainless steel, and up to 5/8 inch for aluminum. It can accommodate sheet sizes up to 60 inches by 120 inches, and has a tolerance of +/- 0.005 inch.

Our forming capabilities include up to 1/4 inch thicknesses over 10 feet lengths, and 1/2 inch thick limited width. A variety of finishing options are also available such as painting, powder coating, zinc/cadmium plating, and electropolishing.

We have and in-house engineering and design department and CSWP (Certified Solidworks Professionals) on staff. We can produce parts to customer specifications whether that's CAD files in a multitude of formats or just an initial concept sketched on a napkin.

Customer service

Barlow Manufacturing takes pride in our long standing relationships with customers. As opposed to simply selling conveying systems, we provide on-going customer support for all installations, and we are available 24 hours a day. That allows us to build partnerships that are based on trust and reliability. Our customers with production lines that run 24/7 need an equipment supplier that does the same.

Industries served

We have experience building parts and equipment to suit the requirements of many different industries. Some of the industries we often serve include automotive, packaging, food and beverage, glass container manufacturing, laundry and linen, greenhouse and nursery.
