We offer a range of oil-in-water monitors. They offer an accurate way to test the concentration of dissolved or emulsified oil in water. Most of our monitors use UV fluorescence to measure oil concentration. They direct light energy at a sample flow and measure the intensity of light that fluoresces back from any oils in the sample. Our unique UV absorbing flow plate provides increased accuracy by maximizing the surface area of the sample flow. They use non-contacting optics and sensors to minimize required maintenance. We have more than 30 years' experience providing reliable monitors for many applications.
HydroSense 2410: This monitor uses a sensing chamber to supply a constant water sample, an optical sensor to measure hydrocarbon concentration via a UV fluorescence technique, and a controller that provides a reliable output for ppm concentration. It is configurable a range of 0-1000 ppm.
HydroSense 3410: This monitor uses a slip stream method to direct a sample through the monitor and return it to the process flow. It uses UV fluorescence, and can be configured for 0-100 ppm.
HydroSense 3420: This monitor provides a cost-effective solution for detecting oil leaks in a clean water sample. It uses a light scatter method and is configurable to a range of 0-100 ppm.
FluoroCheck II: This is a benchtop unit that is also portable. It offers a fast and easy method of measuring hydrocarbons in water. It is capable of using direct water samples or a hexane oil extraction technique.
