Threadlocking Adhesives Product Line
We distribute numerous threadlockers, adhesives designed to lock fasteners in place. They prevent loosening due to vibration, thermal expansion and other stresses, and also prevent damage to fasteners during the removal process.
- 3M’s Scotch-Weld Threadlocker TL42 Blue is a medium-strength anaerobic adhesive distributed in one component. It fills and seals threads completely, maintains torque, secures dissimilar metals, and extends the life of equipment. 3M also manufactures models of threadlockers with various other features, including oil tolerance, and high or low torque removal.
- Henkle-Loctite offers two models of threadlocking adhesives, which are cured when confined in airless spaces between close-fitting metal surfaces. Their Red threadlocker is designed for fasteners up to 1” in diameter, and their Blue model suits metal fasteners between ¼” and ¾” in diameter.
- Permabond’s Anaerobic Threadlocker A130. Its excellent chemical resistance makes it ideal for sealing small hydraulic and pneumatic fittings.
