Various Applications

Applications
Our customers are from many sectors of the manufacturing world. They include industries such as metal manufacture, automotive, aerospace, power generation, utilities, food and packaging and electrical distribution. Some common applications are: electrical insulators, switchgear components, wear materials, tooling fixtures, terminal boards, bearings, shims, seal rings, conveyor guide strips, as well as high temperature components and insulation.

Fabrication
Punched and Die Cut Parts
Technical Plastics offers extensive punching capabilities for both high and low volume production runs. We also offer comprehensive tooling facilities from design to completion to help keep costs down and eliminate delays. Punched parts can be fabricated from many materials such as vulcanized fibre, teflon®, polyethylene, industrial laminates, nylon and nomex®.

CNC Machining
Technical Plastics utilizes state of the art CNC machining for large and small volume orders. This technology allows complex and close tolerance parts to be machined without the added cost of tooling and improves accuracy and repeatability.

Conventional Fabrication
Our saw, milling and drilling areas are extensive and well maintained and ready to handle large and small fabricating requirements. We also offer finishing operations such as screen printing, forming and special coatings as well as in-house tooling.

Quality
To specify materials, assist with design and to fabricate parts used in industries such as power generation, automotive and aerospace require diligence and accountability. Our quality system includes traceability, certificates of compliance, vendor approvals, dimensional reporting, Statistical Process Control, and sampling programs.
