Scotchgard Anti-Fog Coating is bonded to the lens, which enables it to resist fogging longer than traditional anti-fog coatings.

A fogged lens can be dangerous for a worker on the jobsite. By removing eyewear to wipe away fog, the worker is exposing his or her eyes to potentially dangerous hazards and debris. But 3M has the solution. Many of its safety glasses now include anti-fog technology, enabling workers to enjoy reliable, clearer sight longer than traditional anti-fog coatings allow.

Innovative technology

3M now employs Scotchgard Anti-Fog Coating on its Solus 1000 Series Safety Eyewear, as well as its Google Gear 500 Series Splash Goggle. This coating is bonded to the lens, which enables it to resist fogging longer than traditional anti-fog coatings, even after being washed at least 25 times. It meets the requirements of CSA Z94.3 and ANSI Z87.1, so workers can be assured that they are wearing a high-quality product that offers reliable protection.
