REDwire Roll form angles not created equal, says Nu-Tech

{{1434417368863| date:'MMM d, yyyy hh:mm a'}}    REDWIRE is news you can use from leading suppliers. Powered by FRASERS.

Based on the initial customer interaction and ongoing communications, Nu-tech will build the perfect angle profile for each specific application.

Steel, stainless steel and aluminium angles are part of countless manufactured items — from the automotive and furniture industries, to the oil and gas, agriculture and HVAC industries. However, all roll form angles are not created equal.

It is easy for both customer and roll form supplier to assume an angle is the easiest shape of all to produce. Setup, run and ship. That’s it. Right? Not if you ask Nu-Tech Roll Forming Inc.

At Nu-Tech, it is known that this “laissez faire” approach will only lead to problems for the customer. Nu-Tech knows that an angle must be treated with the same detailed approach as the most complex roll formed shape.

They begin by working very closely with each customer that requires an angle. This is done to fully understand the end use application. Based on the initial customer interaction and ongoing communications, Nu-tech will build the perfect angle profile for each specific application.

Does one side of the angle need a tight tolerance? Is one area surface critical? Will the part be painted? Post galvanized? Welded? Is the overall length critical? Do the sides need to be edge conditioned? Will the customer further modify the angle once on the shop floor? Can the roll former incorporate the customer’s holes or notches in-line and save the customer money? These questions are just a small sampling of what can go into developing a quality, problem-free angle.

An angle is not just an angle. It is a critical component to the customer’s end product.  Nu-Tech believes it should be treated as such.
