Ohio Broach offers a range of machine accessories, including machine tables and hydraulic clamping systems.

Ohio Broach & Machine Company can custom design and manufacture all types of broaching machines. These machines feature high-quality construction, including precision ram slides, hardened and ground steel ways, and high-performance hydraulics.

The company can also provide a range of optional equipment for broaching machines. This equipment includes machine tables, work-holding clamping systems, chip removal conveyors and more.

Ohio Broach offers a number of options for machine tables. All of these tables feature cross keyways that help with fixture change-over. The standard machine table is a platen-type that has a large perimeter free of obstructions. Another option is tip-back tables that can tilt work-holding fixtures to provide easier access when loading/unloading workpieces. The table can then be tilted forward automatically, ensuring it is in the correct attitude for broaching.

Infeed shuttle tables are also available that enable multiple repetitive broach cuts so the machine can make passes until the required depth is achieved. These tables are also available in models with tip-back capability.

Upgrades for work-holding fixture clamping

For applications involving manual-type work-holding fixture clamping, two options for upgrades are available. Air-oil booster-type power sources are available for fixture clamping. They include an electrical pressure switch, and the necessary tie-in for the machines' electrical system. The other option is a double-hydraulic power source that can be used for large volume hydraulic cylinders or multi-cylinder operations, and can also be used to power automatic fixture movements.

Other optional equipment

In addition, Ohio Broach can provide chip removal conveyors. They include magnetic types for handling ferrous chips, and drag-link types for non-ferrous chips. These conveyors can be used for both pit and floor-surface machines. They come with baffles and electrical tie-ins. Lastly, operator platforms are available that feature durable construction with structural tubing and heavy-duty grating.
