Harting has introduced new mounting frames for its popular Han 24HPR EasyCon and Han 24HPR enlarged housings. These new frames give customers more options when it comes to configurations, as they increase packing density by one-third. Now this series of rugged connectors can host up to eight Han-Modular single modules, an improvement over the six modules typically allowed.

About Han-Modular

The complete Han-Modular Series of more than 50 signal and network modules is made up of contacts for power, signals, fibre optic communications, coax, D-Sub and pneumatic transmission. These modules can be combined in many Harting Han housings to create single-purpose or hybrid connectors tailored to each application.

The Han 24HPR EasyCon and Han HPR housings are ideal for external electrical interconnection in rail or other vehicles, wet areas or any highly demanding environment. They are IP68-rated with seals that protect against penetration by dust and water, and screw interlocks that prevent uncontrolled opening. The Han 24HPR EasyCon is ideal for applications requiring ease of assembly with a two-part housing and abundant cable space. It also offers the capability to add additional elements for strain relief or cable shield connection.

A leading manufacturer

The new mounting frames are the latest innovation from the Harting Technology Group, a world-class company known for its comprehensive portfolio of connectivity solutions. The manufacturer employs more than 4,000 people across the globe with subsidiaries and branch offices in 40 countries, including a Canadian office in Saint-Laurent, Que.
