Firing Industries carries Malvern’s Insitec range of analyzers.

Malvern’s Insitec range of analyzers is ideal for robust, reliable, real-time particle sizing analysis. Available in Canada from Firing Industries, these systems deliver the online continuous particle size analysis needed for efficient, cost-effective monitoring and control of industrial processes.

Advanced analysis for many applications

Insitec analyzers are suitable for a wide variety of process streams, from dry powders and hot sticky slurries to sprays and emulsions, offering mobile or static solutions for most industrial applications. They can measure particle sizes from 0.1 micron to 2.5 millimetres, and have the capacity to handle milligrams of material or hundreds of tonnes per hour.

These systems use advanced laser diffraction technology pioneered and developed by Malvern. Their rugged construction and robust technology reflect the exacting demands placed on analytical instrumentation used continuously in milling, classification, spray drying, atomization, filtration and granulation applications. These analyzers are capable of taking scattering patterns every second, and delivering the particle size distribution in real-time.

Major advantages

Thanks to this advanced process analysis, the Insitec range of analyzers offer many benefits to users. These include:

  • Improved accuracy and reduced waste: The analyzers produce batches of raw materials that are “right first time”, which reduces waste and the amount of material to be recycled.
  • Improved quality: These systems offer consistency. They reduce batch-to-batch variation, which improves and maintains continuous quality.

The lineup

The range of Malvern Insitec analyzers, the process interface, analysis software, automation and data reporting can be customized to meet the exact needs of each application.
