Megger offers RCD and loop testers designed for industrial test applications. 

Its RCD testers offer automatic testing of the five RCD tests required in the “Wiring Regulations.” Megger loop testers offer both traditional measuring techniques and state-of-the-art “guaranteed non-RCD tripping” technology. They are typically used to for two purposes — to determine the prospective earth fault current (the maximum current able to flow in a phase-earth fault in an installation) and to indicate the prospective short circuit current (the maximum current able to flow in the event of a phase-neutral fault).

The Megger CHM2000 Cable Height Meter, designed for telecommunication applications, falls in this category. It uses ultrasonic sound to determine the height of up to six overhead cables and wires; therefore, requiring no physical connection to cables or wires. This feature dramatically reduces measuring time. Designed to address measuring requirements on cables up to 75 feet (23 m), the CHM2000 is inherently safe, easy to use, and offers hand-held portability, as well as calibration- and maintenance-free operation.  

Also in this category, Megger has introduced the LT300, a new high current loop tester for CATIV 300V applications. Two models are available, offering high current loop testing over a wide range of frequencies and supply voltages. They offer fast, accurate and stable results, and feature a large, clear display that aids visibility in poor
conditions.
