On the show floor

Harting’s stand will feature some of the company’s latest and greatest innovations. For example, attendees can get a close look at the company’s new contact inserts, which offer tool-free quick termination and potential multiplication. The Han ES Press contact inserts are designed to significantly reduce the assembly time of Han heavy-duty connectors, and are suitable for solid and stranded wire (with and without ferrule). It is the first product in the Han E product family that enables bridging of individual contacts for potential multiplication.

The company’s stand will also feature the Harting IIC MICA (Modular Industry Computing Architecture), which has been nominated for the prestigious HERMES award, an international technology prize. The winner will be announced during the opening ceremony for Hannover Messe. The MICA makes it possible to temporarily save, evaluate and process data in the immediate vicinity of machinery and equipment. With its modular open platform, MICA can be customized with hardware, software and interfaces to meet each customer’s unique needs. And thanks to its compact size, MICA fits anywhere.

Harting’s wide selection of connectors will also be on display, alongside some of its other best-in-class technologies.
