Lapp Canada offers Epic Ultra connector housings for use in extreme environments. These rectangular connector housings feature heavy-duty construction, so they are resistant to scratches, impacts and corrosion. They are also dust and watertight to IP65, and are immune to electrical interference.

Design details

Epic Ultra connector housings are made from die cast nickel-plated zinc with stainless steel levers. They feature the patented Skintop brush configuration that offers a 360-degree low-resistance contact area with the cable shield. This brush configuration, combined with the nickel-plated housing, creates a conductive shell that acts as a Faraday cage to prevent electrical interference.

Some additional design features include the recessed lip gasket, integrated base gasket, and radial seal on the cable jacket and strain relief. These connector housings are also mateable with standard housings, and feature a recess in the hood to accept Fleximark Ultra marking labels for clear and secure connector identification.

In addition, these connector housings pass the 72-hour salt spray test.


Epic Ultra connector housings are suitable for a wide variety of applications in challenging environments because they are resistant to dirt, electrical noise, water, weather, oils, detergents and corrosion.
