All Custom Gasket offers a lineup of high temperature material designed for harsh conditions.

All Custom Gasket offers a lineup of high temperature material designed for harsh conditions, including extreme heat, saturated steam and high pressures. Operating in temperatures ranging from 450 to 3000 degrees F, these materials prove to be a safe and durable thermal barrier in applications involving fluctuating temperatures above the typical range of conventional gasket material.

High temperature materials used in a wide range of applications such as boilers, furnace and oven door seals, and thermal and electrical insulation are exposed to a continuous temperature exceeding 750 degrees F. All Custom Gasket has an extensive inventory of high temperature products supplied in full roll quantities, cut to length or custom fabricated, in sewn sleeves, curtains, blankets and covers.

The company's most popular high temperature materials include:

TYPE DESCRIPTION  OPERATING TEMPERATURE
Ceramic papers  Has excellent chemical stability and resistance to most corrosive agents. Great for use in electrical insulation. 2300 degrees F
Ceramic blankets Lightweight but durable blanket that has low thermal conductivity and good sound absorption with high tensile strength. 2300 degrees F
Ceramic millboards Offers smooth, rigid surface with low thermal conductivity, uniform density and excellent resistance to thermal shock and chemical attack. 2300 degrees F
Marinite A
Marinite I
Marinite P
Transite HT
Non-asbestos, strong inorganic boards, which are heat treated formulations for conveying and handling molten aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. Each style, with their own properties, allows for varying temperature resistance. 1500 degrees F
1200 degrees F
1700 degrees F
450 to 600 degrees F
Silica fabric Textured yarn with good insulating properties. 1800 degrees F
Fibreglass tape A lightly woven tape manufactured from texturized fibreglass yarn that is easy to install with its pressure-sensitive adhesive. 1000 degrees F
Fibreglass rope Made of continuous filament texturized yarn, woven into rope. Fabricated in soft, medium or high density and in various styles, including twisted, square and round. 1000 degrees F
Tadpole tapes (Fibreglass, wire inserted, knitted wire mesh, ceramic) Resilient, non-absorbent gasketing tapes formed by wrapping heat-resistant cores with specially treated cover materials, carefully sewn together to create a bulb and tail for ideal sealing and fastening. 1000 degrees F
Ceramic tapes They are resistant to molten metal sparks and splashes, most chemicals and solvents, as well as thermal shock. 2300 degrees F
Flexible graphite  Manufactured from mineral graphite and ideal for high temperature uses. A 316 stainless steel foil insert option can increase its strength and offer superior torque retention.      3000 degrees F
Glasstherm      A thermal insulation sheet with superior strength, resists effects of moulding pressure, oil and water absorption.      425 to 550 degrees F
MICA Resists fire without burning, unaffected by water, acids, bases and mineral oils, and has good tensile and bending strength.     1850 degrees F
