Sentry inlet stabilizers are available in a range of sizes and materials.

York Fluid Controls can supply inlet stabilizers from Blacoh. These products are part of the manufacturer’s Sentry brand of solutions for pulsation and surge control. They will improve liquid flow to the inlet side of any pump. This extends the service life of all inlet system components.

Positive displacement pumps use an inlet valve that opens and closes, which creates an acceleration and deceleration of fluid into the pump. Sentry Inlet Stabilizers use a patented “J” model design that prevents fluid column separation at the pump’s inlet. The result is minimized pressure fluctuations and acceleration head losses. Due to the improved flow, components in the inlet system are protected from vibration and fatigue, and service life is extended.

Sentry Inlet Stabilizers from Blacoh offer a number of benefits. They will ensure complete chamber fill and prevent excess stress to pumps, valves, pistons and diaphragms. In addition, inlet stabilizers prevent cavitation, and ensure inlet side gauges are always accurate.

The inlet stabilizer comes with a patented control unit, which enables adjustment for pressure or vacuum settings.
