Solids handling capabilities

Besides dewatering applications and general use, these pedestal drive pumps are particularly well suited as trash pumps. That’s because they are capable of handling solids up to 1.5 inches. In addition, some models feature quick release cleanout covers that make removal of debris fast and easy. On models without quick release covers, the casing bolts can be removed to allow cleanout without the need to disconnect hoses.

The maximum working pressure for these pumps is 75 PSI, and they are suitable for use in temperatures up to 80 degrees C (180 degrees F). They are self-priming up to 20 feet, and can deliver up to 500 GPM and 54 PSI. All the models use precision-sealed ball bearings with heavy-duty cast iron bearing housings.

A model for every need

When it comes to powering these pumps, they are designed to accept either direct or belt drives ranging from a minimum of three HP to a maximum of 15 HP, depending on the model. Available construction materials include cast iron, cast aluminum or thermoplastic. There are several options for mechanical seals, including Viton, Buna-N and silicon carbide. The various models have NPT port sizes ranging from two to four inches.
