Our Shop
With ISO 9001 certification, CSA-XP, a building expansion and a lot of new
shop and field services equipment in place, a number of product manufacturers
have recognized B+B DYNAMO as their authorized service depot. For "obsolete" products, we often wind, machine
and fabricate replacement parts.
New Equipment to Work With
Repairing and rebuilding electric motors used to be a labor-intensive
art. We're helping to turn it into an efficient science. Automatic
parts washer, Process-controlled burnoff, Computer-controlled equipment
(core testing, coil winding, electrical testing, dynamic balancing
- 5,000#). electroplating.
Dual impregnation tanks and ovens plus VPI. Vibration testing, Generator
loadbank testing (digital) up to 550kW. Motors can be started and
run in-shop at up to 4,160 volts.
New Capabilities to Use
Our new equipment is backed up with extra training and a great group
of employees in a team environment with profit-sharing. We are keen
to use all of our new capabilities and to keep growing.

On-Site Service
We've expanded our capabilities and equipment base for On-Site Services.
Vibration analysis & dynamic balancing, Laser (& conventional) alignment, Thermal scanning, Electrical & Mechanical Predictive Maintenance, Field services and problem-seeking inspections of on-site rotating equipment and controls.
Product Sales
When it may be better to replace than repair, we will let
you know and also quote you a competitive price on a replacement.
At last count, we had over 20,000 total HP of motors in stock.
Used/Reconditioned/Rebuilt
We acquire used equipment, fix it up in our spare time and stock it for
resale. Motors, Generators, Hoists, Transformers, etc.
New Electrical Power Products
With our industry contacts and combined buying power with our related
company, KVA Dynamo, we get great service and prices from our sources.
We offer application advice, start-up commissioning and/or aftersale
